Got a call from someone talking in Greek claiming to be from Investec, trying really hard to get me to invest. Sounds like a total scam to me, no decent investment company would be that forceful!

I keep getting calls here in Cyprus from London, like five times already. The numbers showing up are 00442070487198, then there’s 1332792985, also 1670369308, plus 1293533575 and 2085995281. It’s pretty annoying!

I didn’t pick up since it was coming through on my Greek mobile. Nobody over here in the UK would have that number, so it felt a bit odd. I’m curious how they managed to get it, unless it’s some automated system just dialing random Greek area and mobile prefixes.
