Another one of those pesky scam calls again! When I picked up, all I got was a voicemail saying the call was over, then it just cut off. Seems like they want to find out if you're in before trying again later from another number. The same kind of call came through on a number close to this just yesterday. I block them as soon as I can but they always come back with a new number, like clockwork every single day. I really hope the people we're reporting these to actually manage to put a stop to this nonsense soon!

Almost the same number as 020 7043 3716 I dealt with just a few days ago.

I got a call from someone claiming my home was marked for urgent repair work. Throughout the call, the caller kept pushing questions, seeming like they wanted me to say 'yes' to something. I was careful not to agree, worried they might be recording me to use my words against me somehow. But accidentally, I said 'affirmative' once, and right after that, they hung up. Fingers crossed this doesn't lead to any issues down the line with these dodgy scammers.
