The caller claimed they were from something like Equine Investments, trying to pitch me some betting algorithm. I made it clear I wasn’t interested, but they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Even after I hung up, they kept ringing my number nonstop. After the third time, I finally picked up and demanded to talk to a manager. Not sure if I actually got one or if it was the same bloke pretending to be someone else! The idiot forgot to mute themselves, so I ended up hearing them slag me off before ‘the manager’ came on. Proper rude and unprofessional behaviour.

I got a ring from someone saying they were from Equine Investments Canary Wharf. Told them my number is on the do-not-call list and asked them to take me off their marketing database. They went on about how they got my details from some list and that the call was about checking how I felt about investment risks - sounded like a classic boiler room to me!
