Used to work in IT and run websites, now semi-retired. This call claiming to be from 123REG is a total scam, it’s a fake number. Don’t engage or do what they say, just hang up immediately. The only time I ever spoke to 123REG was when I phoned to close a site account! Real 123REG emails come from legit company addresses, not dodgy masked ones like these scammers use. If you look into the email headers, you can usually spot the fraud. Sometimes wish I still had the tech tools from my old job to wipe out these scammers’ hard drives for good!
