Been getting messages about car loans and then they rang me 3 times within an hour, after that I blocked their number.

At about 5:45 in the morning, some caller rang my special needs lad asking for his name, birthday, and even bank details. I woke up to all this and when I confronted them, they started arguing with me! I managed to get on the phone and firmly told them to stop calling altogether.

Got multiple calls one after the other during the evening. Looked them up here before picking up and it seems like a call centre, so I just ignored it. They keep ringing which is really frustrating.

Got calls from this number like 10 times this evening when I was trying to get my kids to sleep. Seems like Shaw Academy is making their own adverts here, bragging about how brilliant they are. I work in sales too, but I’ve never been this pushy (or irritating) just to close a deal. The Q&A session after their webinar is all about pushing sales, not the actual content of the course. I’m defo blocking this number on my phone and binning their emails as well (which ironically went straight to my junk). Hopefully this warning saves someone else the hassle!

i keep getting calls from shaw academy ever since i joined one of their classes. looks like their whole thing is pushing low-cost, not-so-great courses on vouchers sites like groupon and wowcher, then ringing customers repeatedly trying to sell pricier courses and stuff. feels like the cheap courses are just a way to reel you in and then push harder sales later.
