I received a rather peculiar phone call claiming that I had been involved in a car accident. The strange thing is, I don't even possess a car! Quite baffling, to say the least!

Somebody rang up saying I’d been in a car crash and there was an insurance claim to sort out. Sounded dodgy so I just blocked the number.

There was no one talking, just silence on the other end for a good 4 seconds before I decided to put the phone down.

total scammers! they told me i was in a car crash (which is hilarious since i haven’t got a car at all). i asked where they got my number from considering i'm on the do not call registry, but they just kept pushing. when i asked for their name and their company info, they just cut me off and hung up.
