Got a call from a lady claiming she was Jenny at PC Security Centre, Glasgow. She told me my Windows PC had issues, but it was obvious a scam. She kept being pushy and whats more, she knew my address which freaked me out. I hung up loads of times but she kept ringing back. After a while, I just stopped answering and thankfully the calls have stopped now.

Today, this number rang us and as soon as we picked up, the line went dead. We didn’t hear anything afterward, but then we discovered our phone was marked as engaged! As a result, we could neither place any calls nor receive them. Quite a nuisance!

I’m based in Stockholm, Sweden and this number has rung me a few times this week. Don’t see why someone from London would be calling me, so I’ve just ignored it every time.

Asian guy called and just wanted to ask a couple of questions, sounded like a repeat thing with more to come! I told him I don’t do questions anymore and hung up.

No answer when I picked up.

Got a call from this number earlier today. They asked for my hubby by name and checked if our postcode was right, which it was. Then they mentioned something about a washing machine and just ended the call. Weird.

Got a call from someone named Rajid claiming to be from Windows Tech Support saying there was an issue with my computer. When he realised it was a work computer and not mine, he just ended the call.

It took a little while to answer. The person on the phone had a heavy accent and was quick to demand my name. I asked where he was calling from before giving any info, but he started yelling at me over the phone. I ended the call while he was still swearing at me. Number’s been blocked now.

This number got flagged by BT Call Guardian. Another annoying call gone for good. Honestly, BT Call Guardian is ace. If you’re fed up with scam calls, definitely get one. The model I got is BT8600. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Some bloke called saying I needed to get on my computer because there were problems with it. Thing is, I don’t even have a computer here.

Got a dead silent call that just dropped after 10 seconds. Honestly, OFCOM needs to get serious and make these phone companies actually follow the TPS properly. They should be made to block all these rubbish calls before they even ring through. If my number’s on TPS, it shouldn’t be getting any of these annoying spam calls at all.

Annoying telemarketer bothering me incessantly.

I picked up the phone, yelping in agony, and this chap asked if I had an accident within the past three months. I hollered, “Absolutely!” Then he inquired about the specifics of my mishap. I retorted, “It happened while I was dashing for the phone! I slipped, I tumbled, and oh, the pain!” He informed me that any claims would not cover incidents from the past three minutes. I was beside myself with distress. Suddenly, this peculiar bloke asked if I fancied having a sky subscription. I screamed, “I can see the sky, but my legs are done for after that tumble I had while trying to answer your daft call about claims that didn’t materialise!” Then, he made a rather odd offer for a free boiler. I thought, “Why not?” But he proceeded to say it would cost £10 for the first month, then £80 for the second, and a ridiculous £5678 per hour for breakdown cover. At that point, I felt utterly exasperated. Then, this eccentric man went on about needing solar panels, and I queried the necessity of such an odd contraption. He claimed it would provide me with free water, to which I replied, “It’s been raining since I moved to England...water’s already free here, mate!” He switched gears, insisting on free electricity instead. I informed him, “I don’t pay for power; I’m on benefits since relocating to England...maybe you ought to give it a try, you silly fool!” When he wanted to know why I called him a name, I retorted, “You’ve got a job, you numpty! I just annoy people, receive payment, live rather well, and when the rain stops, surely you’ll supply me with my free power, free water, and compensation for my fall that wasn’t truly my fault within those last three minutes!” Honestly, what was the purpose of that call?
