Loads of calls coming through looking for Mrs Mortimer, but we've explained she isn't at this address. On one occasion, my daughter answered pretending to be her, and the caller claimed to be from BT. She mentioned her boyfriend works for BT, and then they just hung up. Despite all this, the calls haven't stopped, really frustrating!

Got a call from 02064538956 on 12/02/18, claiming my computer licence was out of date. Sounds like some scam artists trying their luck. I’ve blocked them now. These types just keep ringing, it never ends!

Had one of those pesky hackers ring me up the other day, so I just kept them on the line for ages to make them waste their time. Kept asking loads of questions, making them explain things over and over again. I wanted to know everything - their company name, surname, phone number to call back, email or website, IP address, basically anything. Then I asked them to spell everything out slowly. Made sure to keep asking for repeats too. Felt good knowing they were probably racking up costs without even realising it!

I got a call from a man with an Asian accent who claimed my computer was hacked and that he could sort it out. I pretended to be worried for a bit just to see where he was going with it. Then I told him I don't even have a computer. He insisted that I did and told me to stop being difficult. I just said I wasn’t interested in his nonsense and ended the call.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who claimed my PC was hacked and offered to sort it out. I pretended to be worried for a bit just to see where it was going. Then I told him straight up I don’t actually have a computer. He insisted I did and told me to quit being difficult. I said I wasn’t going to waste my time on his nonsense and just ended the call.

Some bloke phoned me saying my computer had been hacked or something. The call showed up from this number, but when I asked him to tell me his own number, he said it was 01619326141. I'd say both of these are dodgy and best avoided.

Today I got a call from some bloke in India using this number. He said my computer was busted or something and that he was gonna sort it out. Still here waiting for him to magically fix my PC, what a muppet! Haha kkkkkkkk

Just like loads of others, I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who said her name was Mary. She started going on about me being hacked, broke, and bankrupt. I let her keep talking for a bit, then told her I'd never heard so much nonsense in such a short time before slamming the phone down. A few seconds later, she rang back asking why I hung up, so I just ended the call again. The scary bit? She actually knew my wife’s name and where we live.

Got a call on my mobile from some bloke with an Indian accent who went by Jack! He claimed he was calling from Windows' computer division. He asked me who the computer belonged to at my place, and I told him it was my work's company. Then, out of nowhere, he just ended the call.

I got a call from 02064638956 saying my computer was hacked. The person told me they were going to shut down my PC, so I told them I'd get in touch with Windows licence support. After that, the caller just cut the phone.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Mike Reid, supposedly from Windows Customer Support in Manchester. He kept saying he’d sent emails about payment and needed access to my PC. When I asked for his phone number, he gave me 01619326141. Then, when I asked him to spell his name, he just ended the call straight away! Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Some woman rang me and claimed she had details about my computer. I asked her to take my name off their list, citing the Data Protection Act, but she just said, “no, I’m not allowed to.” So I ended the call right there.

Got a call claiming to be from Windows, told them thanks but no thanks and ended the call. Bit cheeky if you ask me... I've blocked the number now.

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be from Windows. They told me my laptop, which I barely touch anyway, was hacked and that I’d been sending money requests through emails to folks. They insisted that if I didn’t give them remote access, they’d shut my device down for good. Obviously, it was a scam from the start.

Got another call today. The guy said he was from the computers licensing team, but his English was pretty shaky. He did manage to pick up a few new words, nearly all starting with "F". Didn't sound very professional!

Got a call from someone saying they were with the "Computer Licensing Department." When I asked for more details, the line just went dead. Had a heavy foreign accent and sounded like a total scam. Honestly, they deserve a good telling off!

Just like many others, I told them I've got their number right here. Called them out for being scammers and said I’d report them. This time they claimed I was up to something dodgy and threatened to close down my computer. When I calmly asked what they meant, they just cut me off.

Just got a call from a guy pretending to be with "Windows". He told me someone broke into my PC and created an email using my name, sending messages asking for cash. Seemed legit at first and he even said he could show proof. But when I looked up his number on Google, turns out it was a total scam! These things really annoy me.

Like loads of others here, I told them I had their number in front of me and called them scammers. I said I’d report them. Then she claimed I was involved in some illegal activity and threatened to close my computer. When I calmly asked for more details, she just ended the call.

A well-mannered young woman rang me earlier claiming to be from the "computer licensing department" - whatever that even means! I kept my cool and was polite too, but after a little while, I think she twigged I wasn’t falling for it and ended the call. Honestly, I find these calls almost amusing now, but seriously, when will these scammers finally stop with their nonsense? It’s getting a bit tedious.

So I got a ring from a really courteous young woman claiming to be from some "computer licensing department" - never heard of such a place, honestly. I kept things civil and polite with her, but I reckon she twigged pretty quick that I wasn’t biting and after a bit, she just threw in the towel. I actually don’t mind having a natter with these callers, but seriously, when will they stop with this annoying scam nonsense? It’s starting to get a bit tiresome now…

This number rang me again claiming to be from the Licensing Commission, saying my computer had been hacked and they needed to get in to fix it. They said they weren't after any payment, just wanted to access my laptop. When I asked what would happen if I refused, they threatened to shut my laptop down. I just told them to try it. Then I called them scammers and told them if they thought I was daft enough to let them take control, they were dreaming. They hung up on me after that.

They rang me twice today. I've dealt with this kind of scam before, so by the time they called the second time, I told them they shouldn’t be trying to trick people. Right after that, they just cut the call!

Got two calls on my mobile today from someone saying I was spamming emails and causing trouble on the Microsoft system. They mentioned they’d send me an email to prove they were genuine, but I reckon that’s just their way to sneak into your PC. When they rang the second time, I told them I hadn’t been hacked and they just ended the call. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me. I’ve already reported the number to O2.

Today I got a call from this number saying my home PC was hacked and that someone was sending emails begging for money, like "Hi, I'm #### #### and I'm struggling, can you send £30 to feed my kids?" I told the man I was out doing my shopping and not near my computer at all. He went on to try and explain how the hacker managed to get into my details. I doubt they’ll call again but if they do, I’ll make it clear I’m onto them. This scam seems pretty obvious but lots could fall for it, so just be on your guard.

Someone called me claiming my computer had been compromised and asked to remotely access my laptop. I told them to ring back when my partner was around because I didn’t really get what was going on. When they called again, she spoke to him and tried the same request, but he refused. Then she started accusing me of sending emails connected to terrorism and receiving messages from ISIS or something mad like that. She threatened to cancel my Windows licence if we didn’t let her in. Honestly, don’t give these people any access - it’s definitely a scam.
