8 yearsa lady with an indian accent called claiming to be from bt openreach, saying my internet speed was lower than it should be and she could sort it out. i’ve had a couple of similar calls recently but from different numbers, so i asked a family member who actually works at bt. he told me it was definitely a scam and that any real issues would be fixed from the exchange side. he even gave me a kind of “script” to say back to her, and as soon as i did, she hung up straight away!BT OpenreachBTSubmit Your Own Report (020 6445 0113)
