A person rang saying they were from TalkTalk, claiming folks from the other side of the country were somehow using my internet. When I asked for more details, they quickly switched topics. In the end, I just hung up on them.

Not sure who it was, I ignored the call today since the number showed up as unknown on my phone. When the caller heard my pretty blunt (though not rude) recorded reply saying I usually ignore calls like these and don’t bother calling back, they just hung up without leaving any voicemail.

someone rang me up saying they were from talk talk and said there was an issue with the wifi nearby. i said i don’t have any internet connection at home, but then he got really annoyed and started yelling that he knew we did. i explained we only use mobile data and then he just hung up on me.

So, this person said she was from Talk Talk and called me about my internet connection. She started asking me what gadgets I used to get online, but the moment I told her I don’t use a laptop or a PC, she just ended the call. Bit odd if you ask me.
