Some bloke with an Indian accent called saying he was from the Talktalk tech team, trying to help sort out my router problems. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam to me.

What on earth is this number all about?

I got a call from TalkTalk and some Indian bloke claiming to be Mark Allen was on the line. I just laughed, told him I was too busy for a chat, and hung up. Total scam, no doubt.

I didn't answer when it rung. Afterwards, I tried ringing back using 141 before the number to hide my details, but it just said, "number not found." So it's obvious this was a fake number, and they probably weren't calling with good intentions.

Just got a missed call and when I called back, it said the number doesn’t exist anymore. Strange!
