I received a call from this number. My answering machine nearly kicked in, but they didn’t leave any message. I attempted to ring them back to ask them to stop calling, but it said the number wasn’t recognised.

Heaps of noise in the backround, like a busy office or something. Then this guy with an Asian accent pops up saying I had a crash in my car within the past couple years, like trying to reel me in for some accident scam. Total scammy vibes.

I got a call from some accident firm on my new phone number, which I only switched on like four days ago. The guy said they had my info in their system. When I asked where he found my number and who he was after, he just cut me off and ended the call.

I've been inundated with calls from this number multiple times. Whenever I confront them, they become quite aggressive and disrespectful before abruptly ending the call! Today, a bloke named 'Adam' with an Asian accent rang me. He was reading from a script when I asked him to remove my number from their list, and guess what? Blimey, he's certainly had his hands full today, hasn't he? What this chap seems to overlook is that the active London dialling codes are presently restricted to the 020-7xxx yyyy, 020-8xxx-yyyy, and 020-3xxx-yyyy ranges. The 020-5 series isn’t even operational yet! I glanced at the caller ID and decided to give the call a miss, so I've now gone ahead and blocked it. - caller: Unknown

I got a call earlier today at precisely 11:09 in the morning, but when I answered, there was absolutely nobody on the line.

This morning, I received a call from that number but opted not to pick up. Instead, I let my voicemail take over, only for the line to go silent. Just a couple of minutes later, it rang again, followed swiftly by two more calls within a minute. I recall answering a similar call at home around six months back and another on my mobile. Both were regarding whether I'd been involved in a car accident-specifically if someone had rear-ended me. I informed the chap that I don't drive, to which he inquired if I had ever been a passenger in an accident. To that, I replied no as well. He then asked something else, which unfortunately slips my mind now, but I responded negatively again, and he abruptly ended the call. - Caller: Accident Claim

Received a couple of missed calls from this number today. I've just switched my home phone number because of all those pesky cold callers. Honestly, I only keep the landline for my broadband; I hardly ever use it - who even does these days, really? Not quite sure how they managed to get hold of my new number; it might just be some random dialler at work. I've noticed a few silent calls coming through lately as well...

What a right nuisance! I just got a bloomin' call from an Asian man-might've been Pakistani, I reckon. He queried, “You’ve been in a car accident in the past two years, haven’t you?” Sounded like there was a right commotion behind him, almost as if he was reading from a script. I told him unequivocally, “Absolutely not!” and he promptly hung up. Definitely feels dodgy-could it be a cheeky scam?
