I got a few calls from this number all in the same day. Since it showed as international, I just let it ring out. When it finally went to voicemail, it just hung up straight away.

I've been getting loads of calls the past couple of days from this number and others like it, with an Asian voice saying they're from some international TPS blocking service. It all sounds like a bit of a scam to me.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, and he got really rude when I said no to giving out my bank details. After I ended the call, he called again right away, still sounding quite pushy. I told him I wasn’t happy with how he was talking, then hung up, and that was the last I heard from him.

I've had calls from 02050009999 popping up four times within just a couple of hours. Every time someone different picked up, all saying they were from the telephone preference service. I ended up just hanging up straight away each time. So strange hearing a new voice with the same number every time.

Not really sure if the caller (definitely not a proper gent) was even listening. He must've thought a quick blast on some sort of whistle would make me cough up for Telephone Preference, which I already get without paying a penny. This was the third time in just a couple of days! Honestly, OFCOM needs to step up and shut these pesky scammers down once and for all.

I got a call from a guy named Martin, an Asian bloke, and I was pretty wary straight away. He claimed he worked for some phone preference management firm, but it wasn't the usual TPS. He somehow knew my last name and postcode, which was a bit creepy. Things got dodgy when he began chatting about my debit card that was about to expire. I asked why he needed to know about my card in relation to blocking marketing calls, but he kept dodging the question. So, I just hung up.

I got a call from someone claiming they need to update my telephone preference service, but then they started asking for loads of personal information.

Got calls from some bloke with an Asian accent, just would not stop yammering! Tried to speak but he didn’t give me a chance. Rang about five times yesterday from numbers like 02050005843. Sorted it by blocking the lot with that Telephone Preference Company call blocker thing.

Got a call from an Asian guy who said my phone preference blocking was nearly up. He sounded like he knew my name and asked if I was paying by direct debit. Said he could upgrade my service as it'd stop loads of spam calls once the current one ended. Then he tried to verify my debit card by asking about the last few digits. I didn't give anything away and just hung up. Then, later that night, an Asian woman rang with a similar spiel but I shut that down quick too. Since then, that same number keeps ringing but I’ve been ignoring it.

Got a call on my landline but when I tried calling back the number didn’t show up on my phone. Pretty strange!
