Got called by TPS a bunch of times in a single day, like four calls! Since it showed up as from abroad, I ignored it. If you do pick up, it just ends up on voicemail and then the call drops. Proper annoying.

I’m pretty sure this is a scam from some so called Telephone Preference service. They rang me 5 times just yesterday and even tho I’ve put them on block, they’re back this morning calling from 02050009999. Watch out, could be dodgy!

They called me three times today looking for my mum, who passed away a couple of months back. When I asked them to leave us alone as we’re still mourning, the person on the phone got quite rude and pushy.

I got a call from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent who said he was from Telephone Preference Management. He told me my registration had run out and asked me to verify my info, even my debit card expiry date, to fix it. When I asked for his phone number to return the call, he wouldn't give it to me and kept making up reasons. I kept him chatting for about 15 minutes before I finally ended the call. Honestly, he probably thinks we’re all mugs!

Got a call from an Indian bloke asking for my debit card info or direct debit details to “help stop nuisance calls” like the ones he apparently makes. When I tried to get the name of his company, he just hung up on me. Total scam, be careful out there!

TOTALLY A COMPLETE RIP-OFF. NEVER share any details with whoever rings from this number. Sorry for shouting but really wanted to make sure nobody gets tricked by their nonsense. First off, TPS registration is free and never runs out! Then, no legit caller will ever request your bank info or card details out of the blue. Also, they called me using my old last name and claimed my number was listed on their website - that’s just rubbish. Actually, this number belongs to a doctor’s surgery. Stay clear of this nonsense and definitely mark it as dangerous!

Got calls from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Telephone Preference Service. She kept asking if my credit card was out of date and requested the updated info. Been ringing a few times daily, bit annoying really.

Had a few calls over the past couple of days from a guy with an Indian accent. He definitely knew my name and where I live, and he said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Kept pushing me hard for my credit card info to “confirm identity”. When I said no, he got quite nasty. Total con artist, for sure! The TPS never asks for money or card details since their service is free. They probably think they’re smart, pretending to be from a legit place that actually exists to stop scammers like them. Best to put a block on this number ASAP!

Got a silent call from this number and after seeing what others have said, I reckon it's time to break out the football whistle! Maybe they'll notice us this time if they can't hear us shouting!

Today I've been getting calls roughly every half hour, and yesterday the same thing happened but the number was different.
