I've got a strong suspicion that this could be yet another scam. It's the second similar number I've come across today, the first being 02019, which also turned out to be dodgy. Thankfully, I have a call blocker in place that prevents these nuisances from getting through, especially if they're not tech-savvy enough to bypass it. I'm considering reporting these miscreants to Ofcom or Action Fraud. It's truly concerning how those who are more vulnerable in society, often not as clued up about these tricks, end up getting duped by such fraudulent schemes.

Twice this morning I got a call from this number, and all I heard was an automated voice just saying goodbye. Total nuisance.

Someone claiming to be "James" from tech support called me, but I told him to buzz off straight away. Couldn't catch the rest of what he was saying. Checked the number - it isn't even real. Definitely a scam.
