A guy rang claiming to be from BT, saying that someone called 'mr crawl' had been using our internet. He wanted to know who in the house uses the internet, how many people there are, and what gadgets we connect to it with. Then he asked if I was close to the router and what colour the lights on it were. I didn’t tell him anything though, it was obvious right away that it was a scam!

Not sure who it was, but it definitely sounded like someone in a busy office, talking with a thick Indian or Pakistani accent. We got a call earlier today from a bloke asking about our washing machine! This isn’t the first time either; we've had a few calls over the past six months all asking about the same thing. Strange!
