3 monthsIf someone’s gonna call me, they should at least have the manners to talk when I answer. Sounds like a scam to me, so I’ve just blocked the number.8 monthsGot a call from someone claiming to be Albert, social housing repairs, but sounded like an Indian call centre. Definitely a scam.Albert7 yearsI got a call about some kind of accident, and I clocked it was dodgy right away. They tried to connect me to their legal person, who took down all the 'accident' info. It supposedly happened last Christmas Eve while I was dropping off presents to my daughter's place when a red car suddenly cut me off and slammed the brakes. I told them my insurer refused to cover it cause the other driver didn’t have a licence or insurance. When I added that the car was actually a red sleigh and the driver introduced himself as Santa Claus, they swore and hung up after nearly 16 minutes on the phone.SantaClaus7 yearsThey called me up asking if I’d been in a crash, so I joked that I'd soiled myself. Then they actually wanted to know if that made me forget things. Quite the weird convo!7 yearsIt’s so frustrating getting calls asking if I’d been in any accidents recently.7 yearsI got called like 11 times within just 5 minutes! Every single time I picked up, there was nobody on the line. Really weird.Submit Your Own Report (020 4876 5423)
