Got a text about some crypto scam telling me to ring this number. Sounded dodgy to me.

So I got this message saying my crypto.com was hacked and they wanted me to ring them up. Thing is, I don’t even have an account there! Still, I gave them a bell. They started asking for my name and tried to convince me to move my account to a different wallet. They actually provided the recovery phrases, which is a trick to drain your funds later on. If you actually use crypto.com, steer clear of these lot. If not, like me, mess around a bit - keep them chatting on the phone so they can’t con anyone else easily. Best of luck out there!
