So, this guy calls saying I’m due £6750 from some PPI claims. He asks if I’d prefer a cheque - which apparently means loads of forms - or a direct bank transfer. Cool, I’m fine with that and give him my sort code and account number. Then suddenly, he asks for the full long number on my debit card. Nope, no chance! Told him only scammers ask for that info. He got real quiet and hung up after a bit. Bit fishy if you ask me...

Here we go again with another 0204638 caller!!!! Seriously, how many variations of this number do these scammers have? I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve told them to bugger off because I know they’re dodgy (and I’m not exactly polite about it). If they’ve got the tech to harass people randomly, surely there’s some way to use tech to track them down and shut these crooks up for good?
