5 monthsI didn’t add the number to TPS since I hadn’t asked for it. Instead, I just blocked them and now my landline call log is packed with blocked calls.TPS5 monthsSome bloke rang saying he was from eco grant services, insisting he wasn’t selling anything. He told me there’s a free government upgrade available for my heating or energy system and asked what kind I have. He seemed pretty convincing, but I'm well aware of all the scams going around. Even though my heating could do with an upgrade, I decided to hold off. When I mentioned he should already have that info, he suddenly got a bit desperate, trying to keep me chatting, but I just ended the call. Later, I looked up the number online and I’m pretty sure it was one of those dodgy scams.5 monthsGot a call on 11th Jan 2026 but I didn’t answer, and they just left a voicemail that was like a second long.5 monthsGot a call supposedly offering a free heating replacement from some government scheme. I kept asking loads of questions about what they were saying, which really seemed to frustrate the person on the other end. After a few minutes, they said thanks for wasting six minutes of their day. I told them cheers for wasting six minutes of mine, and then they called me a rude name and hung up. I enjoy tying these callers up like that - at least it means someone else won’t get hassled.5 monthsGot a call from an unknown number today but didn’t pick up. They never left a voicemail either.5 monthsGot a call from someone asking why I tried to reach them, then they went on about how their mate said I had chatted to him about heating problems. They never said which company they were from and just made up stuff about what I supposedly said. Sounds dodgy to me.Submit Your Own Report (020 4636 4021)
