They asked me for a code sent by text, and without thinking, I gave it to them. It only just dawned on me that it was a scam, so I hung up and blocked the number. They kept ringing from a private number, but I ignored it. Then, out of nowhere, my Sky password got changed! I’ve had to reset it a couple of times already, and it keeps getting altered again. I’m hoping it’s all sorted now, but I’m getting emails about password changes on other accounts too. At least my bank account hasn’t been touched, but honestly, it’s pretty scary.
