Totally a scam from EE, got sent a one time code they asked for. I played along just for fun, but honestly they seemed a lot more believable than usual this round.

Got a call from this number claiming to be EE with an offer of 30% off. Shortly after, I received a text from EE warning about fraud - it said if I hadn’t requested anything, not to share details and gave a number to call back on. The message also included a pin and mentioned resetting my EE ID security answers. I ended the call right away since I hadn’t asked to change any security info, it was clear the caller was trying to get me to give them the reset code so they could hack my account. Watch out, this is definitely a SCAM!!
