2 monthsSome bloke rang up saying he wanted to make a complaint, so I told him to check our website for that sort of thing. But he kept pushing to speak to a manager or the ‘owner’ instead. After going around in circles, he wouldn’t say what the complaint was or bother using the site, so I passed him to a manager anyway. Funny thing, as soon as the manager took the call, the complaint vanished and he suddenly started pitching card readers like he was a salesman.3 monthsGot a call from someone who claimed they were making sure our card reader was functioning properly and that they were following up on a previous call from last month. Problem is, we never had a card reader and no call like that happened before. I just told them I don’t think that’s right and ended the call. Reading through other reviews here, this definitely seems dodgy. Blocked the number straight away.3 monthsGot a call from an Indian call centre asking if I use a card reader. I told them yes, but we're quite happy with our current provider so no thanks. Then the guy said he'd just pop me on hold for a minute - I used that chance to hang up and blocked the number straight away. Bet they’ll just try calling again from another number. Honestly, I wish BT would step up and do more to stop these annoying scam calls. I pay for a business line so my customers can contact me, not random scammers pestering me all the time!BT7 monthsGot calls from these so-called energy brokers today, total scam! Don’t fall for it - just end the call and block their number straight away.11 monthsThey keep ringing me up but there’s no way I’m giving them any of my details, scammers or not!11 monthsGot a call from some Indian call centre, you could hear all the chatters and noises at their end. The bloke’s English was pretty bad. They tried pushing a card machine and some energy deals on me. Honestly, this feels like a complete con. He kept pushing card machines, then switched to electric and gas deals, even offered some "free" business loan - sounds dodgy to me. I played along, telling him loads about my car, my dog, the kids - the full story. Eventually, he just gave up and hung up. Honestly, just keep them talking, drives them mad! 😂1 yearTotal rip off!1 yearI told them I’m on the TPS register, and she just kept going on about cold calling me, saying the same thing over and over again.TPSSubmit Your Own Report (020 4628 6651)
