Pretty sure this was a scam. Someone called pretending to be from O2, saying they wanted to ‘upgrade my sim’ and asked if I had any problems with my service. I told them no, then they attempted to put me through to another person. I said I wasn’t interested in a new sim and wasn’t having any issues. After that, they started pushing some ‘new tech’ stuff on me... felt like a proper con!

Since I switched my mobile service, I've been getting calls from various numbers. The callers, who had quite thick accents, were pitching deals for O2 and companies like Virgin Media. They asked me for a security code, which you’re never meant to give out to strangers.
