Sadly, my dad agreed to what they called a “survey,” but it turned out to be a pushy sales trick. They got talked into signing up for new window glazing, put down a £1500 deposit, and had a guy come round to measure the next day. The “contract” they gave them just listed the windows and was full of loads of confusing terms on the back. She wanted to know the age of the windows in my house. I told her they were perfectly fine and didn’t need changing.
