I had already blocked a very similar number ending with 27, then this new one gave me a ring. I didn’t answer it at first but got curious and rang back. As soon as I did, someone picked up but stayed silent. Though, I could clearly hear a lot of Indian voices chatting in the background. Definitely felt like some kind of scam.

So this bloke rang saying he was from Viodefone, which is the network I use for work, but I knew straight away they wouldn't call me about upgrades since it's a business account. He kept pushing this "amazing limited time offer" for the newest iPhone, going on and on. You could hear a lot of noise in the background, like it was a hectic call centre. His accent was really strong Indian and his English was quite poor. I just told him I thought he was a con artist and ended the call.

I called the number back, and the person said they were from Vodafone. I ended the call straight away since I'm not a Vodafone customer. Then, he tried ringing me again but I just ignored it.
