Got a call from a number supposedly EE, but something about it didn’t sit right. Felt a bit random so I just ended the call.

some bloke called me saying he was with ee’s verification team... i actually work at ee and theres no such department here. i asked for his staff ID and he gave me a dodgy number that’s not real. anyone working at ee wouldn’t just share their ID like that anyway. as soon as i mentioned i worked at ee, he just ended the call.

They said they were from EE but it was just some scammers trying to wind me up.
