Got a call from someone claiming to be EE's promo team, saying I could get 40% off my monthly bill for a year. Then they asked how much I’m paying right now! If it was really EE, they’d already have that info. I told them as much and they said they’re just doing promotions, not handling accounts or whatever. That was enough for me to hang up.

I don’t usually pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, and this one didn’t even leave a voicemail. Feels like it was just another scam call to me.

There was loads of racket in the background, so I guessed it was a call centre straight away. I didn’t say anything at first, then a woman with a strange accent said hello. When I asked who was calling, she just replied, “hello, how are you today?” Seemed dodgy to me, so I just ended the call.
