Then she just dropped the call. No idea what that was about. 🤷🏻♂️Sophie1 monthGot a call from a bloke who sounded Asian, said he was with the council’s housing repairs at first, but then switched it up to some company called 'Repair houses' halfway through. He asked about what was wrong in my council flat and how long I’d had the issues. Then he wanted me to stay on the line while I took pics to send via WhatsApp. Their WhatsApp profile showed a website, www.housingsdisrepair.co.uk, and this different business name, ‘housing assistance service’. Had a look at the site and it’s just a basic template with stock photos and loads of spelling and grammar mistakes. Phone number listed was 02046154870. Suddenly they were a company fixing homes through solicitors, saying it’s all free and covered by compensation. Total scam, clearly. They passed me onto another caller who started asking for private info like my full name, date of birth and address. I gave them made-up info and just tried to drag it out to waste their time.
