5 monthsGot a call from this number just now, said they were from the council’s housing repairs team or something. The guy on the line sounded foreign and was hard to understand. I asked him twice where he was ringing from then he just dropped the call. Seemed a bit fishy if you ask me!5 monthsGot a call from someone with an Indian accent sounding like it was some sort of call centre. They said they were from East Ham and claimed they were working with Tower Hamlets Council about fixing damp problems. They rattled off details that I only shared in private emails with a couple of people, which freaked me out. Feels like a proper scammer and maybe even a hacker. If this number shows up on your phone, don’t pick up. This is a really slick scam operation. I’m off to change all my passwords right now, especially for my email and anything else important.East HamTower Hamlets Council5 monthsI saw a message pop up saying it was likely a scam, so I just didn’t pick up. I've blocked the number now.5 monthsGot a call from someone in London, turned out to be a total scam.London6 monthsTotally rubbish, they said they were from housing but think again! I own my place and nothing has ever been reported, so no way it’s legit.6 monthsGot a call with no sound on the other end. I’m on the TPS list, so I’ve put in a complaint about it.TPS6 monthsI got a call about some housing repairs they claimed I asked for, but I haven't reported anything like that. I told them straight up they must be scammers, then ended the call and blocked the number. The voice sounded like it was from an Indian call centre.6 monthsSpent most of the call trying to hear through a load of background noise so I missed what the lady was saying. Told her I couldn’t catch a word and then she just ended the call. I’m definitely blocking the number and reporting it to the telephone preference service. Honestly, everyone should do the same - the more complaints they get, the better chance something might actually be done about it.7 monthsJust got a call but it ended before I could say anything, no voicemail left either... probably some sort of spam or scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. 🚫Submit Your Own Report (020 4620 1966)
