I've had this number ring me loads of times, saying they're from Tesco or something. Every time, I just hang up straight away! You can hear kids noise in the background, like they’re messing about or arguing. Quite annoying really.

Got a call saying they were from O2 and that I could get 50% off. They wanted me to share a six-digit code they said they’d sent me in a text. No way! Be careful and don’t get caught out by this trick.

Got a call today from someone saying they were with O2, told me my SIM would stop working in a week. I said thanks, I'll just pop into a shop, then they said they only handle contract renewals, no new SIMs! Told them sounded fishy and ended the call. Blocked the number after that.

Got two calls over the past couple of days from numbers that looked like they were from O2 - but I’m not even a customer. I picked up one time and asked what it was about. They said something about lowering my bill, but I didn’t say a word after that and they just ended the call. Bit weird really.

I got a missed call from a number I didn’t know, so I didn’t bother calling back. These days, I seem to be getting a couple of unknown calls each day, which is quite annoying. Luckily, I started looking up the numbers on this site before deciding what to do. Really thankful for this service - it makes me feel a bit more relaxed about all these random calls.

Got a call today from someone saying they were Vodafone, telling me I could get an upgrade, which is totally not true. They started off by giving me a number that wasn’t right and even when I told them I wasn’t looking for an upgrade, they kept pushing it. My contract doesn’t end until 2025, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. I ended the call, blocked the number, and had a quick look online - glad I did, seems like a scam. Proper annoying!

Totally a scam, no doubt about it. They said they were from O2, but honestly, never heard of any Stephen from India working there. It’s really obvious it’s bogus when they start asking for a one-time code and your bank info - something O2 would never do. Stay clear!

This number, along with another one like it (020 4618 9309), has been ringing me multiple times daily. I suspected it was a scam, so I gave them a fake email. They kept pushing, asking me to share a passcode supposedly to access my account. They pretended to be from my phone company, saying I was charged too much and needed to lower my bill. I’ve now blocked them to stop any further calls.

Totally a scam - they claimed I’d been charged too much by Virgin/O2 and offered to drop my bill to £5 for the month. The caller sounded like they were from an Indian call centre. I gave them a fake email, something like [email protected], hoping they'd get the message but they just kept going. In the end, I flat out told them it’s a scam and then they suddenly cut off.

I got a call earlier from someone claiming to be with Vodafone. When I mentioned I’m actually with Sky, they seemed a bit lost. They tried to convince me they could cut my bill to £5 starting next month and asked for my email. I told them if they were legit, they’d already have all my info since they supposedly worked for Vodafone. They then said they only had my phone number. I called it out as a scam and just hung up.

Got a dodgy call from someone claiming to be "Simon" from O2, spoke with a strong Indian accent. I wasn't very polite and told him to jog on.

Got a call from this number three times out of the blue on my mobile. I rang back and was put on hold until a woman answered. She spoke with a strong foreign accent and claimed to be from my phone network. Yeah right, because she couldn’t even tell me the name of my actual provider! Total scam, stay clear!
