Got a call that said it was from BT, they gave me some ref number 43574904 and were offering a pensioner service for £179.99, said it was a one-off payment and it would cover everything forever, even my BT bills would be wiped. Then they asked for my debit card details to pay. I’ve tried checking BT’s website but can’t see anything about this offer. I got the call around 2.40pm on the 20th August, the number was 02046180262. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call saying it was for a home survey, but I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

I rang the number back and this automated voice comes on saying they were from the UK doing some sort of "household survey." I wasn’t having it, so I just ended the call!
