Got a call from someone saying they were with EE, sounded like they had quite a thick Indian accent but introduced himself as Kevin Hooper. He told me I'd been charged too much and offered to send me a refund plus lower my next bill. When he asked for my email, I hesitated and then he just hung up. I rang EE myself afterwards, and the bloke on the phone said it's definitely a scam. Apparently they wanted my email so they could try to break into my online account.

Someone rang me up saying they were from EE?? They said I’d paid too much, which I know isn’t true. Feels dodgy to me, especially since the number looked a lot like ones linked to scams I’ve seen before. Pretty sure it’s a scam call.
