2 yearsI saw a missed call from a number I didn’t recognise. There’s supposedly a Gov initiative giving away free boilers, but apparently these "middlemen" grab the grants themselves - it’s basically a playground for scammers! The local councils really need to step up and give clear info to folks. It’s best not to let anyone come and "inspect" your house. A relative got caught up in this and now they’re getting constant calls from different “firms” after the grant was taken, but the council just turns a blind eye.
