Got a call from someone saying they were from EE and that my service would be cut off in two days. Told them to jog on right away - total scam!

Somebody pretending to be from EE called me, saying they were offering a free sim card because of 5G. I said I wasn’t interested in 5G, so they said they could just update my existing sim by activating it again, but for that, they needed access to my EE account. I told them I was driving and didn’t have my details handy. Then they said they’d call back later. I'm planning to contact EE myself to check what's going on.

Got a call from someone saying they were with EE, telling me my sim would be turned off in a couple days and that they'd be sending a new starling sim to replace it. Problem is, I ain't got any EE contract. Seems like a scam to me.
