Clicked on a link in a Facebook post and now my iPad keeps telling me it's got a 'trojan'. Tried shutting it down and leaving it off for a bit, even restarted it a few times but the message won't go away. It's saying something about Microsoft infection, which is weird coz I don't have any Microsoft stuff on my iPad. Definitely a scam, no way I'm calling that number they show!

I clicked on a link and suddenly a bunch of pop-up windows appeared, all shouting that my computer was seriously infected and things would get worse if I switched it off. It told me to ring a "Microsoft security" number. The person who answered had a South Asian accent and asked me to follow some instructions on my laptop. I ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam! After restarting my laptop, everything was working fine as usual.
