This number, along with some others that sound the same, has been ringing me up almost daily for months. They keep saying they can assist with merging my debts, but it’s getting really annoying.

Got a call claiming to help with debt relief but it turned out to be a total scam. They try to trick you into paying fees upfront, so watch out for these dodgy operators!

Total scam. The call just hung up straight away after some kind of voice-activated thing.

For the past couple of months, I've been getting calls once or even twice a day from different numbers. They always seem to want me to participate in a quick survey. Strangely, I haven’t seen anyone else mention this kind of scam call, even though they keep using loads of different numbers and always leave a voicemail.

Someboddy called me up saying i was old enough to need a medical alarm system, total scam. Loads of councils sort this out for ya. Never give out your details to these types!

Got a call at 3:24pm today, but didn’t get through because my phone has that security setup where anyone I don’t know has to say who they are first. With all the other comments I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure it was just another scam attempt.

Total scam, don’t trust it at all!

Today I got a ring on my landline from 1638, and the person said they were Gaby, some local energy advisor. As soon as I heard them, I told them they sounded like a scammer and ended the call straight away, then blocked the number. We seem to get dodgy calls like this from different numbers almost every week.

Got a call on 1st July 2025 at around 2:05 in the afternoon but I didn’t pick up. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either. Definitely just some scammers trying to waste my time.

Someone called me saying they were from a government scheme offering loft insulation and that they'd do a 'free' check. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Someone called saying my car’s warranty was expired, but I don’t even have a car, haha. When I told them that, they rudely told me to f*** off and wished I get hit by a bus. What a cheek!

What a complete waste of my time!

I answered but there was nobody there. Pretty clear it's a scam.

Today, I got a ring from 02046012009. Since I’m disabled, it takes me some time to reach my landline, so by the time I answered, it was just another scam call - same old story. I honestly wonder where these scammers find our landline numbers from. Shouldn't the Serious Fraud Office be cracking down on this nonstop nuisance? If they’re not, then what on earth are they doing?

A woman said she was with the "heat loss team" and insisted she wasn’t selling anything, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

I’ve gotten calls from numbers like this too. The caller always asks for me by my first name and starts talking about car insurance or something car-related. The weird part is, I’ve never even had a car! This has happened several times now.

A few times now I've gotten calls from numbers like this where someone uses my first name and starts rambling about car insurance or something to do with a car. Thing is, I don't even have a car! Just today, I got a call from 02035760829, the same one I looked up here earlier. It's happened a couple of times before as well.

I just let it ring till the answerphone kicked in. Could hear a bunch of people all chatting at once, like some sort of call centre madness. They kept saying "sorry" a lot. Ended the call as soon as they noticed the line was still live and being recorded.

Got a call from this number but no one picked up, such a bother, I’m defo putting them on my block list.

Got a call from some AI scammer the other day. A woman with a northern English accent said something like, "Hi, I'm ????, the energy adviser for your area. Am I speaking to the homeowner?" I asked her to tell me my postcode, and as soon as I did, she just said, "Alright, thanks, we'll end it here," then cut the call. These automated voice calls are really risky, especially for elderly folks who might think they’re talking to a genuine person when it’s actually some scam bot.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was an energy adviser from around here. Felt off, so I said, "No thanks, we're not interested," and then just ended the call. Pretty sure it was a dodgy sales pitch.

I got a call on my landline today at 10:49 from a woman named Jane, she said something about heat loss. It reminded me of a call I got yesterday morning from almost the same number, only the last digit was different. Earlier this morning, they rang me too but about something completely different.

I just got a call from an Asian lady who claimed her company was doing some research on well-known brands. She asked if I wanted to get back to them but then suddenly cut off the call without any more info! Quite odd really.

This guy is defo a scammer. Looks like they’re using some kind of VoIP trick to make it seem like they’re calling from the UK, probably bought a load of numbers too. If you get calls from them, best to tell their VoIP company and also report it to Action Fraud. Don’t let these dodgy calls slide!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from some national debt agency. When I asked why he thought I owed money, he just ended the call straight away. Seems like another dodgy scam to me. The number does ring back and they say they're the reconnect team or something like that. Looks like they’ve got hold of people’s details somehow and are trying to fish for info about debts. Definitely shady behaviour.
