Around here, there’s been a lot of dodgy callers using VOIP to scam normal folks with offers about solar panels and other utility stuff. Feels like they’re just trying to trick anyone who picks up. Pretty shady tactics.

Got a call from this number I missed earlier, so I decided to ring back just to find out who was bothering me. A bloke answered with a strong foreign accent, telling me about some “schemes” supposedly backed by the Government, something about solar panels. He then asked if I owned my home or rented it. When I asked where he got my details, he claimed I did a survey last November. I told him that wasn’t true as I never did any survey, but he kept insisting that I had. Naturally, I ended the call right there.
