Some scammer rang me saying they were from the council doing housing repairs. I decided to see how far they’d go and kept the convo going for a bit. Sure enough, they soon tried to get my bank details. I told them straight if they were legit, they wouldn’t ask for that. Then I mentioned my job and they just cut me off. Proper cheeky, honestly!
