This number called my elderly mum, saying they were from DG Domestic Appliances and tricked her into signing up for some kind of insurance. She's 80 and ended up giving them her bank card info. Since then, they've taken more than £200 in payments. There's been no paperwork sent, and now they won't pick up when we try to ring back. Feels like a total scam to me!

Somebody rang claiming to be from D&G about sending paperwork for my washing machine insurance. I was suspicious straight away since they usually email me that kind of stuff. Plus, my renewal isn’t due for another four months, so it didn’t add up at all.
