Someone rang me with the exact same story. I decided to ask for her middle name and she told me it was "Batha". She gave the name Emily Batha Smith. I was like, what sort of middle name is that? Then I asked if she was some kind of AI, and she just cut the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a police officer at Heathrow Airport. She said someone using my phone number had been arrested and said her name was Emily Smith with badge number 8622. She said a colleague would ring me back to sort things out. It didn’t feel right, so I told her I suspected it was a scam and ended the call. I later contacted the real Metropolitan Police and they said no officer with that badge or name exists. Definitely a scam, so be careful everyone!
