I get calls from these scam folks that seem to be coming from somewhere near Lahore, not London at all. The numbers you see popping up are just fake and made by computers. If you get one of these dodgy calls, make sure you text the details and the number to 7726 to report it. Also, you should watch the shows on BBC1 and Channel 5 about scams, which are on iPlayer and My5. They’re really good and show how some of these scammers actually operate big, well-organised schemes. Definitely worth a look!

I've been getting calls non stop from various numbers all over London. They keep shouting and swearing at me because I’m not falling for their rubbish. Tonight, he even called me a Karen! The calls come at all hours, day and night. No matter how many times I block the numbers, they just ring again. It’s proper annoying.

I’ve been receiving multiple calls from a man who identifies himself as Michael, and he’s rather pushy. The odd thing is, he claims I’ve got a substantial Bitcoin balance waiting to be claimed. The trouble is, I’ve never dabbled in trading! This clearly reeks of a scam, so I’d advise everyone to steer clear of it.

Total rip-off. They claimed I had €40,000 in some crypto trading account even though I’ve never done any trading before. Then they couldn’t even name the platform. After that, they said they’d share their screen to assist me with making a claim. They asked which bank I use after that and kept ringing me back over and over. Definitely a scam...

Someone called, claiming I was owed some bitcoins. When I didn’t follow what he wanted, he started getting really nasty, which just confirmed to me it was a total con. Plus, they kept harassing me, calling from all sorts of different numbers.
