I'd been inundated with calls, a relentless seven times daily, until I finally had to block the number. It turned out to be a scam, trying to squeeze money out of unsuspecting folks. Quite infuriating, really!

Earlier on, I received a call from a woman who introduced herself as Susan. She mentioned that she was gathering contributions for some sort of firefighter training programme. However, the moment I began to probe into her authenticity, her tone turned rather rude and abrupt. Quite vexing, if you ask me!
