I got a call from a crypto firm I'd put money into and got ripped off by. They said the company had shut down and were required by law to pay back everyone who invested. Apparently some trading bot kept running and I was supposedly owed an extra £xxxx besides what I first put in. I was driving at the time so asked to be called again later - they said they need my crypto wallet info to send the cash. Never got a follow-up, no money arrived, just this weird number that you can't trace.
