I got the exact same call as the person before, and the funny thing is, I’m not even an EE customer!

Got a call from 020 4591 8788, some bloke saying he was ‘Sam’ from EE with a thick Indian accent. He claimed they were offering me an upgrade because of network issues. Thing is, I’ve not had any problems at all with my connection, and after more than two decades with EE, I’ve never had a call like this or from that number before. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.
