Every day I get calls from numbers linked to Voxbone SA. I really think it’s high time someone looked into Voxbone SA and how they hand out these phone numbers.

The last few numbers may differ slightly, but they all seem to begin with the same sequence. What's rather unsettling is that they inquire for you specifically! You’ll receive numerous calls aimed at digging up your personal information.

I got a call from this number but missed it, so I rang back. An Indian gentleman picked up, introducing himself as being from "BT CONNECT." When I mentioned I’d received a missed call, his whole demeanor shifted, and he bluntly informed me that he was contacting me because I had an outstanding debt. Just to clarify, I don't owe anyone a penny! Moreover, why on Earth would a company like BT Connect, who deals with internet services, be concerned about debts? It’s clearly a scam! I'm beginning to suspect that THREE might be handing over our information to these dodgy callers.

I kept getting calls from them with similar numbers but different last digits. I ignored them and eventually blocked the numbers. So frustrating! 😤

Someone called looking for my husband, but he passed away over a decade ago. I wasn’t angry or anything, but I had a feeling it might be a scam so I just hung up.

It’s so frustrating, honestly. I get a call from them pretty much daily, and no matter how many times I ask them to remove me from their list, they don’t bother. Next day, it’s a different number, just a tiny change in the last digit. I end up blocking them nonstop, which is getting really tiresome! They never actually hear what you’re saying, just keep pushing their debt relief stuff like they can wipe off some of what you owe, blah blah blah. It’s like they don’t care one bit.

They keep ringing me non stop, like more than a dozen times daily. I block one number and next minute it's another one popping up. It's driving me nuts!

These calls come from companies in South Africa using fake numbers. When you get calls from 020 or 0161 codes in London or Manchester, it's often a debt recovery scam or something pretending to be from your phone network. They sometimes hang up quickly or leave a voicemail asking you to ring back. Looks like these are premium rate numbers, so best just not to answer or call them back.

I've had the exact same thing happen to me. No matter how many times I block them, they ring back from a new number that's just a bit different. Also, I've seen it happen loads of times right after I log onto Facebook. Pretty sure it's not just random.
