Got a call where they said they were from the FDA.

Got a call earlier with loads of background noise like from some call centre. The bloke started by asking how I was, so I told him about my father-in-law being in hospital and my brother-in-law feeling poorly. His response was just “Oh, great. I’m ringing from O2.” I told him I’m not with O2, but he just kept pushing some offer I wasn’t interested in. I ended the call pretty quick. Sounds like a scam for sure, and they really wouldn’t take no as an answer.

Another one of those scam numbers, and guess what? The phone company behind it couldn’t care less about protecting folks from crooks. They don't bother with real security checks on who’s getting these numbers, so scammers just keep running free under their nose.
