They called claiming I was owed a PPI refund and asked for my card and bank info to sort out the payment.

EXTREMELY RISKY CALL! Someone phoned saying I was owed £6,000 from a PPI claim. They wanted every bit of my bank info - card number, expiry, CVV, plus my date of birth. I purposely gave them nonsense details (just to mess with them) and got shouted at, called a really silly old lady. Honestly, that made me chuckle - if they got annoyed, I definitely wasted their time! Please make sure folks, especially the more vulnerable, know about these horrible scammers.
