Received a call from an unfamiliar number, so I figured I'd pick up and have a little fun with them. Turns out it was just a scam! A woman’s voice was prattling on about some made-up individual. I ended up just hanging up without uttering a single word, then promptly reported the number to my provider and blocked it. What a waste of time!

I couldn’t really hear who was on the line, but they mentioned something about upgrades for my phone or my line. When I told them I wasn’t interested, they quickly switched to offering a free phone. I declined again, then she asked if she could know what phone I own before ending the call. At that point, I just hung up. It felt odd because there was no good reason for them to ask that, plus I could hear foreign voices in the background and the call quality was poor - I had to crank up the volume to catch most of it. Definitely wouldn’t trust giving out any information to them.

An interesting encounter I had today - a woman with a rather thick accent rang me up, inquiring about my well-being. As soon as I began to ask her a few questions, she promptly disconnected the call. Seems a bit suspicious, doesn't it? I suspect it might be one of those pesky scams.

I’m not exactly sure who tried to ring me, but when I called the number back, all I got was that old dial-up noise. Seems dodgy, probably some kind of scam.
