Got a call from a number I didn’t pick up. Checked it on this site and sure enough, it was a scam. So I went ahead and blocked it plus reported it.

Just seemed a bit shady to me.

I ended up chatting with a couple of blokes, all Indian, who seemed pretty clued up with tech stuff. They even managed to send me texts from what looked like the real O2 number, making it seem legit. When one of them wanted me to confirm some info, he asked for my email. I gave him a fake one, and he said I’d passed their security test. Then he started asking about my details for setting up a new contract, but I just said no thanks and ended the call.

I missed the call and later found a voicemail on my phone. It sounded like some language I’m not familiar with, maybe Cantonese or something similar.

I received a rather dubious call earlier today, claiming I was eligible for a 40% cut on my O2 bills. The caller insisted I verify my identity, but I firmly told him I wouldn't disclose any personal information to a stranger on the phone. He insisted he only needed my email address to confirm I was the account holder-not any bank details, mind you. I offered my email, reasoning that it’s quite the mouthful to spell out. Yet, he requested me to spell it out for him, and I shot back, "Isn't it in front of you since you called me?" He reiterated, "Madam, I've already explained this. Please just spell your email address." At this point, I refused and ended the call. Oddly enough, they phoned me right back!

Got a call offering a 40% rebate on my O2 bill, but they wanted me to confirm my ID first. I told them I never share my info with strangers on the phone. Then they said they weren’t after any bank details, just my email to make sure I’m the account owner. I gave my email, but it’s a nightmare to spell, so they asked me to spell it out. I replied, “Don’t you have it right there? You made the call, didn’t you?” They went on, “Ma'am, like I said, just spell your email for me please.” I said no thanks and ended the call. Moments later, the phone rang again.

Got a call today and when I kindly asked them to remove me from their call list, they just replied with “No, you’re gonna listen to me now.” Honestly, the way they spoke was so disrespectful and pushy. Feels like proper harassment. Just another annoying spam call.

Got a call on my mobile around 3:45 pm on Saturday, which seemed kinda odd. They didn't leave any voicemail either. I’ve decided to block that number now.

Claimed to be from O2, this chap promised me a whopping 40% off my monthly bill. When I inquired about what I was currently shelling out, he mentioned a figure of £9, which is rather peculiar as that’s not what I’m forking out at all! I quickly caught on and named him a scammer, but he just refuted it. At that point, I decided to cut the call. Quite dodgy, I must say!

This number has been calling me loads over the past week. Don’t know who it is and they never bother leaving a message. Pretty sure it’s just another annoying nuisance call.
